Industrial Facility - Germany
BIM Role: BIM Management & BIM Implementation
Team Size: 7 BIM Specialists
Disciplines: Architecture, HVAC, Facility Management, BIM Management, Reality Capture
Challenge: A large industrial manufacturing company sought to establish BIM processes for the management and future development of its main production facility. The project required the implementation of a collaborative BIM environment, standardized workflows, and a digital representation of approximately twenty existing buildings. In addition, internal teams and external engineering partners needed to align their workflows and communication processes within a shared BIM framework.
Solution: Led the BIM implementation strategy for the client, working closely with the Architecture and Facility Management departments through a series of workshops and stakeholder consultations. Developed BIM workflows, communication procedures, and document control processes within Autodesk Construction Cloud, including the setup of a Common Data Environment (CDE) structure.
Created a Revit project template to support future design and facility management activities and delivered training workshops for external engineering partners, enabling collaboration through Open BIM workflows and cloud-based project delivery.
As part of the implementation process, coordinated the creation of digital building models based on laser scanning surveys of the existing facility. Working alongside a team of BIM specialists, contributed to the development of architectural and HVAC models representing the client's building portfolio.
Result: Successfully established a scalable BIM ecosystem that standardized collaboration between internal departments and external stakeholders. The implementation provided the client with structured BIM workflows, a centralized cloud-based information environment, and a comprehensive digital representation of its existing facilities, creating a strong foundation for future projects, facility management, and long-term digital asset management.
Automotive Manufacturing Facility – Germany
BIM Role: BIM Coordination (MEP)
Team Size: 10+ MEP Engineers
Disciplines: HVAC, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, Process Engineering
Challenge: Coordinating HVAC systems within a large-scale automotive manufacturing facility during the construction phase required close collaboration across multiple disciplines. The project involved complex building services, strict construction schedules, and continuous design updates from various stakeholders working simultaneously within a shared BIM environment.
Solution: Acted as the BIM Coordinator for the HVAC design team, representing a group of over 10 engineers in multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings. Managed coordination activities using Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud, ensuring model quality, clash resolution, and efficient information exchange between all project participants. Collaborated with 5 BIM specialists from different disciplines to support smooth project delivery during the execution stage.
Result: Successfully facilitated interdisciplinary coordination throughout the construction phase, improving communication between project teams and supporting timely resolution of model conflicts. The coordinated BIM workflow contributed to a more efficient construction process and enhanced project collaboration across all stakeholders.
Residential Development Complex - Switzerland
BIM Role: BIM Modeling & Data Management
Team Size: Individual Contributor
Disciplines: Architecture, Site Development, Quantity Take-Off
Challenge: The project involved the development of a residential complex consisting of ten three-storey buildings located on a steeply terraced site. Significant level differences across the terrain required careful model organization and coordination to ensure accurate positioning of buildings and site elements. In addition, the client required reliable quantity schedules and structured project data for cost estimation purposes.
Solution: Developed a comprehensive BIM model of the entire development in Autodesk Revit, including terrain representation and building placement across multiple elevation levels. Created and implemented custom parameters for model elements to support data consistency, quantity take-offs, and project reporting. Established a structured BIM workflow by separating each building into an individual Revit model while maintaining coordination through a centralized master model.
Result: Delivered a scalable and well-organized BIM environment that enabled efficient project coordination and accurate quantity extraction. The model structure improved project manageability, facilitated future design development, and provided a reliable foundation for cost estimation and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

"I successfully completed my studies in architecture with a focus on "sustainability" at the Technical University of Munich in 2016. I gained my experience in well-known architectural firms in Germany and France. I have been a member of the Association for architecture professionals in Berlin since 2021 and a member of the Association for architecture professionals in Bulgaria since 2024. I am currently working as a freelance architect and consultant in the German-speaking countries.
In my everyday working life, I am inspired by the multidisciplinary teamwork and the diverse tasks, which require not only technical knowledge and structured thinking but also a lot of creativity and design aesthetics. In my way of working, I'm comitted to the great importance of efficiency and the quality of the results.
I am particularly interested in the topic of digitalization and the role of BIM in the entire life cycle of buildings. I have the special honor of having made my passion the focus of my everyday professional life. I have been actively involved in BIM consulting, management and coordination since 2018. In order to consolidate my practical experience theoretically, I completed a further training course in BIM management at TÜV Süd in 2021. Today I am a certified BIM professional from the BuildingSMART International and an Autodesk Service Provider Partner."
